We recommend using a leader line of 30 lb. or less to ensure your leader can break away in the event of snagging your hook.

The RV1 eLine™ has up to 50 lb. of breaking strength. To prevent camera loss, we always recommend attaching a 30 lb. or lighter leader line directly to the RV1 camera, which will break away in the event of a snag or hangup.
If you want to run heavier leader for abrasion resistance, simply attach a short length of lighter leader between the camera and your heavy leader.
